PETALING JAYA: Firefighters have rescued two children found half-conscious inside a burning home.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis, when contacted, said that a fire broke out an apartment along Taman Megah Emas here earlier on Saturday (March 14).

The fire burned about half of the unit's living room space.

"Firefighters found two children, a boy and a girl aged between four and six years old, while extinguishing the fire.

They were then rescued and sent to the hospital via ambulance," he said.
