TV actress and hubby sought in RM1.5mil land fraud probe

SEREMBAN: Police are looking for a married couple believed to be involved in a RM1.5mil fraud case related to the sale of a non-existent plot of land in Selangor.

District OCPD Asst Comm Azahar Abdul Rahim said the male suspect and his wife, a local television actress, were now believed to be in Sarawak.

"We began a probe after receiving a report from a 56-year-old man in January.

"Both suspects are now on our wanted list," he told the media on Tuesday (March 3).

Police have also sought assistance from the Immigration Department to trace the duo, he added.

ACP Azahar appealed to those with information on the couple to contact the authorities.
