Japan’s Volcano Islands hit by 6.0-magnitude quake


HONG KONG: An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted the Volcano Islands, Japan region at 0355 GMT on Monday (March 2), the German Research Centre for Geosciences said, reported Xinhua.

The epicentre, with a depth of 10km, was initially determined to be at a latitude of 23.12 degrees north and at a longitude of 144.30 degrees east. - Bernama-Xinhua
