PM Anwar condemns Islamabad mosque bombing, extends condolences to Pakistan


PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has condemned the bombing at a mosque in Islamabad during Friday (Feb 6) prayers, describing it as an affront to basic humanity and extending Malaysia’s condolences to the victims and their families.

In a Facebook post on Saturday (Feb 7), Anwar said he was profoundly saddened by the loss of life caused by the attack.
