Giant horse sculpture becomes new iconic landmark in Nibong Tebal

NIBONG TEBAL: A giant horse sculpture in a dramatic rearing stance will soon become a new landmark welcoming visitors to Nibong Tebal.

Positioned along Jalan Nibong Tebal, the towering structure is hard to miss for motorists exiting the highway and heading into the town centre, drawing attention even from a distance.

Rising about two storeys high, the sculpture features a stainless steel framework that catches and reflects light, giving it a striking, glimmering appearance, especially at night.

Jawi assemblyman Jason Hng Mooi Lye said the sculpture is scheduled for official unveiling on Wednesday (Feb 11).

"Friends in the Jawi region, the horse is here.

"Anyone else born in the Year of the Horse like me?" he posted on his Facebook page.
