Three arrested for allegedly abusing 10-year-old girl in Putra Heights


SUBANG JAYA: Three suspects have been arrested after a mother alleged that her 10-year-old daughter had been abused by family members.

Subang Jaya OCPD Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said in a statement today that the complainant filed a report on Feb 3.

The mother alleged that her daughter was assaulted by an aunt at a residence in Putra Heights.

Investigations showed that the complainant and the suspect lived in the same house alongside other family members.

The mother claimed that she was also assaulted during the incident.

“Acting on information received by the report and police investigations conducted, two women and a man aged between 17 and 49 years old were arrested," Wan Azlan said.

He added that all suspects have been remanded for three days until Feb 6 to assist with the investigation.
