SHAH ALAM: The man arrested for allegedly molesting and assaulting a child in Hulu Selangor is expected to be charged in court soon.
Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Shazeli Kahar said the charge would be done either on Wednesday (Feb 4) or Thursday (Feb 5) at the Kuala Kubu Bharu court.
“I have been informed that, barring any obstacles, the charge will be brought either today or tomorrow," he said during a press conference at the police contingent headquarters here.
When asked about the exact motive behind the incident, he said that the investigation showed the suspect had “emotional distress”.
On Jan 29, a nine-year-old girl was attacked and molested by an unknown man in Bukit Sentosa after the victim and her siblings were at the night market along Jalan Bakawali.
