Staffing, service scheme for AKPS to be finalised in second quarter of 2026

PUTRAJAYA: The staffing and service scheme for the Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) is expected to be finalised by the early second quarter of this year, paving the way for stronger border control operations.

AKPS director-general Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the service scheme and staffing plan are currently in the final stages of review by the Public Service Department (PSD) before submission to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for approval.
