KUALA LUMPUR: Thieves broke through a ceiling of an office, before running off in nearly RM20,000 in stolen goods.

Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Rosdi Daud, in a statement Thursday (Jan 29), said that the complainant noticed the broken into office unit in Jalan Pudu Ulu on Jan 26.

Checks by the complainant showed that the thieves had entered the building by breaking through the ceiling.

“The estimated total loss was RM18,500.00.

“Acting on the complainant’s report, on Jan 27 at around 2am, a series of arrests were carried out in the Ampang and Cheras areas.

"Police successfully arrested three suspects, aged between 24 and 54 years old. Urine tests showed all were positive for methamphetamine,” he said.
