"Investigations are still underway to determine if the centre had a licence to care for autistic children," he said.

A video of a child, believed to be autistic, locked inside a storeroom at the centre was circulated online, leading to mass condemnation from social media users.

It was reported on Thursday (Jan 22) that police had received three reports against the centre.

ACP Ramsay also said police had recorded a statement from social media influencer Caprice, whose real name is Ariz Ramli, regarding the video.
