Thunderstorms expected in Selangor, Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan until noon


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds affecting Selangor, Sabah, Sarawak and the Federal Territory of Labuan until noon on Friday (Jan 16).

According to MetMalaysia, the warning covers Sabak Bernam and Kuala Selangor in Selangor, as well as Limbang (Lawas) in Sarawak.

A similar weather warning also applies to several areas in Sabah, namely the interior (Sipitang, Tenom, Kuala Penyu, Beaufort and Keningau) and west coast (Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran and Kota Belud). - Bernama
