Action taken against corruption should not define entire ministries, security forces, says PM

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said legal action taken in relation to the weaknesses in the implementation of certain projects should not lead to negative perceptions of ministries involved or security forces as a whole.

The Prime Minister stressed that such firm actions are taken only against a small number of officers found to be involved in corruption cases and should not be associated with the overall integrity of the ministries or agencies concerned.
