KOTA KINABALU: A migrant security guard has been arrested for allegedly beating his wife in Tawau.

The 45-year-old allegedly beat his wife during an argument at their house in Bukit Quoin, causing injuries to her arms and legs on Friday (Dec 19).

Tawau OCPD Asst Comm Jasmin Hussin said based on a report from the victim, a housewife in her 40s, she needed protection from further abuse and decided to press charges.
