KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Tuesday (Dec 16) announced a new list of his Cabinet members and deputy ministers, with prominent names taking over new and switching portfolios.
Earlier, he said the government will continue to prioritise strengthening governance and improving the effectiveness of policy implementation for the well-being of the people and the country.
Minister changes are as follows:
- Datuk Seri Johari Ghani - Investment, Trade and Industry Minister
- Steven Sim - Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister
- Datuk Seri R. Ramananan - Human Resources Minister
- Hannah Yeoh - Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department ( Federal Territories)
- Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad - Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister
- Datuk Seri Arthur Joseph Kurup - Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister
- Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir - Economy Minister
- Dr Zulkifli Hasan - Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs)
- Datuk Mustapha Sakmud - Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah & Sarawak)
- Dr Mohamad Taufiq Johari - Youth and Sports Minister
