Nearly one-third of over 1,000 daycare centres received Bomba safety notices


KUALA LUMPUR: The Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) has issued 373 notices to 1,172 childcare centres it inspected since October for failing to comply with safety regulations.

Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Aiman ​​Athirah Sabu said that for private primary and secondary educational institutions, the department issued 41 notices after carrying out 234 inspections in the same period.
