Melaka cops step up security ahead of RXZ Members Ride Edition 3.0


MELAKA: Melaka Police have assured that security and traffic control will be stepped up for the RXZ Members Ride Edition 3.0, scheduled for Dec 12 to 13 at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC) Square, Ayer Keroh, here.

State police chief Comm Deputy Comm Datuk Dzulkhairi Mukhtar said that a sufficient number of officers and personnel would be deployed at the venue to ensure the safety of participants and the public.

"Melaka Police will also implement continuous traffic flow control to prevent congestion while ensuring that major roads in the state remain open.

"The safety of participants and the public remains a top priority, and the public is advised to follow instructions from the authorities at all times,” he said in a statement here on Wednesday (Dec 10).

DCP Dzulkhairi also urged participants to exercise discipline and take necessary measures to safeguard their vehicles.- Bernama
