A MALAYSIAN man who was travelling in Taiwan ended up in the police station for getting into a fight, Sin Chew Daily reported.
According to Taipei police, 65-year-old Zhang was taking a stroll along with his daughter and son-in-law at the Ningxia night market on Dec 1.
Zhang spotted a car which had a number plate resembling that of his friend’s and took out his phone to take a picture.
The vehicle owner, 28-year-old Wu, immediately stopped Zhang as he thought Zhang wanted to report him for illegal parking. The verbal argument soon turned physical when Zhang, his daughter and son-in-law ganged up on Wu.
When police arrived following a tip-off, the four were still fighting and were taken back to the station for questioning.
Neither side wanted to file a complaint, but police still referred them to the prosecutors’ office for disturbing public order.
> Unofficially retired superstar Jet Li continues to be the subject of conspiracy, this time with rumours that he is using a body double to attend public events, Sin Chew Daily reported.
In August, the 62-year-old sparked concern among fans after posting a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed with a tube seen inserted to his neck.
Shortly after, Li posted a video where he was seen shirtless and swimming, suggesting that he was in good health.
Recently, Chinese entertainment commentator Song Zude pointed out how Li’s demeanour during his public appearances was noticeably different. He claimed that Li could be using a body double to attend public events and even called for more stringent identity checks for Li, which further fuelled online controversy.
Li once again denied such rumours and said his health was fine, adding that there were no surgical scars on his body to suggest a heart transplant.
