Pahang Customs foil rice, e-bike smuggling attempts


TEMERLOH: The Royal Malaysian Customs Department (Customs) foiled attempts to smuggle e-bikes and rice worth a total of over RM1.1mil in separate operations.

Pahang Customs director Mohd Asri Seman said the first raid involved the seizure of 434 units of electric bicycles worth an estimated RM272,200 with duties and taxes of RM127,981 in a container in North Port, Port Klang at 10.50am on Oct 9.
