Foreigner found dead on stairs of Puchong Jaya shophouse


SERDANG: A man believed to be a foreign national was found dead, suspected to have been murdered, on the staircase of a shophouse in Puchong Jaya on Thursday (Nov 6) night.

Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Muhamad Farid Ahmad confirmed the discovery of the body.

"We will issue an official statement regarding this incident soon," he said.

The victim, who was working in the area, was renting a room in the shophouse.

His body was discovered by a member of the public at about 8.30pm before authorities arrived for further action.

Members of the police K9 unit, along with a sniffer dog, were seen at the location to assist in the investigation and handling of the body. – Bernama
