SPM exams begin tomorrow, says Education Ministry


PETALING JAYA: Preparations and safety measures are in place as 413,372 students nationwide gear up for the 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination, which will start tomorrow, says the Education Ministry.

“The ministry is concerned about the safety and welfare of candidates and examination staff in facing any possibility including disasters and the spread of infectious diseases such as Influenza-like illness throughout the exami­nations.

“The ministry is ready with appropriate mechanisms and preparation measures, including collaborating with other relevant agencies,” it said in a statement yesterday.

Candidates are advised to inform the school or state ­edu­cation department imme­diately if they are involved and affected by any disaster, the ministry added.

The ministry also reminded all candidates to refer to the exa­mination timetable for infor­mation on the date, time, paper code and name of the exami­nation paper as well as instructions that must be followed throughout the exa­mination which ends on Dec 23.

The examination timetable can be downloaded from the official portal of the Examination Board via the link Ip.moe.gov.my.

Candidates are reminded to bring their identification documents and Examination Regis­tration Statement to the examination centre.
