Thunderstorms expected in Terengganu, Sarawak, Sabah, and Labuan until 7pm on Oct 26


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has warned of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds expected to hit several areas in Terengganu, Sarawak, and Sabah, as well as Labuan, until 7pm on Sunday (Oct 26).

In a statement, it said that in Terengganu, the areas affected are Marang, Dungun, and Kemaman, while in Sarawak, it involves Kuching, Serian, Samarahan and Kapit, Song, and Bukit Mabong.

The forecast for Sabah applied to the interior areas of Sipitang, Kuala Penyu and Beaufort, and Tawau.

The public is advised to stay vigilant to the possibility of heavy rain and strong winds, which could lead to flash floods in the affected areas. - Bernama
