No untoward incidents reported in second rally against Trump, say cops


KUALA LUMPUR: A second rally to protest the arrival of United States President Donald Trump here proceeded without incident, say police.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Fadil Marsus said that the second rally was conducted at a parking lot near G Tower here on Sunday (Oct 26).

"The rally proceeded smoothly and all had dispersed at 6.45pm without any outward incidents occurring.

"The police thanks all, including the organisers, for controlling participants of the rally while also obeying all orders given by the police," he said in a statement on Sunday (Oct 26).

Earlier today, a group gathered at Dataran Merdeka for the Himpunan Bantah Trump rally to protest the Gaza genocide and show solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
