Hajiji meets Yang di-Pertua Negeri amid speculation over Sabah state assembly dissolution


Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor arrived at Istana Seri Kinabalu at around 8.51am.

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor met with the state's Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Musa Aman, on Monday (Oct 6).

Hajiji's vehicle arrived at Istana Seri Kinabalu at around 8.51am, and he  met with Tun Musa Aman for about an hour before leaving.

The meeting is believed to be seeking consent for the dissolution of the 16th Sabah State Legislative Assembly.

The Sabah State Legislative Assembly is set to dissolve automatically on Nov 11 in accordance with the State Constitution.

Sabah State Legislative Assembly Speaker Datuk Seri Kadzim M Yahya confirmed this during a press conference at the assembly in August.
