SERDANG: Investigations into a road bullying case where over a dozen motorcyclists surrounded a car on the road here has led to the arrest of nine suspects.

The suspects, aged from 17 to 21, were arrested early Tuesday (Sept 30) in the Puchong and Shah Alam areas.

The arrests were confirmed by Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Muhamad Farid Ahmad, who said that all suspects would be remanded for four days and that three motorcycles had been seized.

He said one of the motorcyclists then approached a passenger in the car and asked if they were policemen.

ACP Muhamad Farid added that the complainant then drove away out of fear, leading to the chase.

In a viral video, one of the motorcyclists was seen kicking the fleeing vehicle.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
