Parents’ climb of hope

Low and Tan are doing their utmost to realise a better future for their son, Rayce, and others living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

WHEN Davien Low and his wife Alyce Tan first joined the Expedition Mount Kinabalu climb in 2023, it was not just about reaching the 4,095m summit – their goal was far higher.

Every step they took was for their only child, 14-year-old Rayce Low Rok Chun, who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).
