KUALA LUMPUR: After more than three weeks which saw protests and heated public debates, the Dewan Rakyat meeting ended with the passage of two historic Bills, both of which had been in the works since 2018.
However, the highly-controversial Urban Renewal Bill (URA) was not put to vote and was deferred to the October meeting.
