Six Form Four students remanded over bullying case released on bail

KOTA BARU: Six Form Four male students who were remanded over a bullying case involving a Form Three student at a school in Pasir Mas last week, have been released on police bail.

Pasir Mas OCPD Asst Comm Kama Azural Mohamed said they were released as their remand period had ended while awaiting further instruction from the prosecution.

"The remand period for all six suspects ended on Monday (Aug 25) and they were released on police bail," he said.

He added that the case is being investigated under Section 323 and Section 507B of the Penal Code.

The six students were arrested on Tuesday to facilitate investigations after the victim reported that he was hit and was nearly strangled with a wire, resulting in injuries. – Bernama
