The colours and gaiety of Bulan Merdeka descended upon Parliament as it hosted the National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang celebration at its forecourt in the run-up to National Day and Malaysia Day.
The ceremony was officiated by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, alongside Dewan Negara President Senator Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah and Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul, in a symbolic gesture of unity and patriotism yesterday.
