Police nabs man for breaking into influencer's Batu Maung home


BALIK PULAU: A man who was arrested for breaking into a house believed to belong to a social media influencer in Batu Maung, here, is on remand for four days to assist in the investigation.

Barat Daya police chief ACP Sazalee Adam said the 21-year-old man is on remand until Aug 8 to assist in the investigation into the incident that occurred on Monday (Aug 5).

He said the man tested positive for methamphetamine, amphetamine and benzodiazepine drugs and has a criminal record for drug-related offences.

Yesterday, it was reported that a man was caught by the homeowner after returning to a house he had burglarised to collect items he had left behind.
