Bomba helps remove ring stuck on Kota Baru man's genitals


KOTA BARU: Firefighters from the Kota Baru Fire and Rescue station took approximately 22 minutes to remove a ring that was stuck on a man's genitals at a hospital here on Thursday (July 24), Sinar Harian reports.

Operation commander Senior Fire Officer II Ghaffar Surol told the Malay language daily that they received an emergency call from the hospital's emergency department at 7:01pm Thursday.

"Upon arrival at the location, we found the ring stuck on the genitals of a 29-year-old man.

"The operation involved five personnel and was successfully completed by 7:52pm," he said.

He added that the team used special equipment to carefully cut the ring to avoid causing injury to the victim.
