Raid on Subang Jaya private party nets four suspected drug dealers


SUBANG JAYA: A raid on a "private party" in Subang Jaya has led to the arrest of four individuals suspected of distributing drugs.

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said in a statement yesterday that the operation was carried out on Sunday (July 20) at a house in the area.

“Checks were conducted on 38 individuals, including 13 foreigners. Most were students from institutions of higher learning, aged between 18 and 27,” he said.

Four men, aged between 21 and 25, were arrested for allegedly distributing ganja and ketamine. Another 12 individuals were detained after testing positive for drug use.

“All have been arrested to assist with further investigations,” he added.
