JOHOR BARU: A 14-year-old boy has been killed by a falling oil palm tree in Parit Katik, Sanglang, Ayer Baloi, Pontian, near here.
Pontian district police chief Supt Mohammad Shofee Tayib said they were alerted to the incident at about 11.30am on Tuesday (July 15) and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel from the Benut Health Clinic.
