Suspects in Cyberjaya student murder case appear in Sepang court


The two individuals being investigated in the murder case of a university student in Cyberjaya on June 24 arrived at the Sepang Court on Thursday (July ).

SEPANG: Two suspects linked to the murder of a university student in Cyberjaya on June 24 appeared in Sepang Court on Thursday (July 10).

According to Sinar Harian, the male suspect, in a white T-shirt, and the female suspect, dressed in black, arrived in a multi-purpose vehicle at 8.55am.

Police ensured security as the handcuffed suspects entered the court to prevent any incidents.

Sepang OCPD ACP Norhizam Bahaman, announced that charges would be filed under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

Maniishapriet Kaur, a 20-year-old Bachelor of Physiotherapy student from Sarawak, was found dead in a condominium in Cyberjaya at 10am on June 24.

Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan, reported that the arrest of four individuals, including the primary suspect, who is the boyfriend of the victim's housemate, resolved the case within 48 hours.
