Kelantan JPJ collects over RM200,000 from auctioning 102 seized vehicles

KOTA BARU: The Kelantan Road Transport Department (JPJ) has collected RM205,290 through the Public Auction of Seized Vehicles Series 1/2025 held at its headquarters in Panji on Sunday (July 6).

Kelantan JPJ director Mohd Misuari Abdullah said the proceeds were generated from the successful bidding on 102 vehicles, which were disposed of transparently following legal procedures court-issued forfeiture orders.

"The highest bid recorded was RM51,000 for a lorry, followed by RM30,000 for another lorry. The lowest was RM250 for a motorcycle," he told reporters after the auction.

To ensure transparency, the auction was witnessed by representatives from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), the National Audit Department and JPJ headquarters. – Bernama
