Three decomposing bodies found in Seremban house

SEREMBAN: Three members of a family were found dead in a house in Taman Bukit Kristal near here on Tuesday (July 1).

Seremban OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Hatta Che Din said police were informed about a foul smell coming from the locked house.

"Acting on the information, the police and fire brigade went to the house at 4.53pm and cut the padlock on the gate," he said in a statement on Wednesday (July 1).

"A check of the house found three decomposing bodies in two bedrooms.

"An investigation found that the three bodies were the members of a family, a 61-year-old man, his 59-year-old wife and their 30-year-old son."

ACP Hatta said a forensic examination found a cut on the right arm of the son, while the parents' bodies did not show any suspicious signs.

Police also found four knives with bloodstains, and various types of drugs on a table in the living room, he added.

ACP Hatta said the bodies have been sent to Hospital Rembau for a post-mortem to determine the cause of death. – Bernama
