KOTA BHARU: The body of a man with mental disabilities was found in a locked house in Kampung Nara, Pasir Puteh, at noon on Thursday (May 15).

Pasir Puteh Fire and Rescue Station Operations Commander, Senior Fire Officer II Mohd Ridhuan Mohd Nor, said that the body of Wan Silmi Wan Jusoh, 55, was discovered at 1.49pm after they received an emergency call at 1.23pm.

“We received a call about an unconscious victim inside a house. Upon arrival, we found the house locked but managed to crack open the door and discovered the body of the man on a bed.

"It was his sister who noticed that something wasn't right, because she usually brought him food in the evenings. Yesterday's food, however, remained untouched as of this morning," he told Bernama on Thursday.
