Girl goes missing in Kuantan after quarrelling with grandma


KUANTAN: A 14-year-old girl has gone missing and is believed to have run away from home in Kampung Sungai Gabong, Bentong.

Bentong police chief, Supt Zaiham Mohd Kahar, said Nordina Jeka, left the house around 3.15pm on Friday (May 2) after arguing with her grandmother.

"The girl was upset and walked out of the house without informing her grandmother,” he said in a statement on Thursday (May 8).

The girl’s grandmother searched for the teenager in the surrounding area and near a relative’s house in Jalan Telemong but she could not be found.

The last known sighting of the girl was near the Campsite Project in Janda Baik, Bentong.

"The girl is 150cm tall, has medium build, dark complexion and weighs about 60kg. She was last seen wearing a red short-sleeved T-shirt and black jeans,” he said.
