Anti-dumping duties on PET plastic imports

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has imposed definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) from China from 2.29% to 11.74% from yesterday and 37.44% for the same material from Indonesia.

The Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti) said this came after the conclusion of its months-long investigation into unfair trade practices.
