LHDN foreign taxpayer counters open on May 2


PUTRAJAYA: The Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) Foreign Taxpayer Branch (CPCA) counters will officially operate at Level 9, Block 10, Government Building Complex, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim, Kuala Lumpur, starting Friday (May 2).

In a statement on Wednesday (April 30), the board announced that the operating hours of CPCA for consultation services are from 8am to 5pm from Monday to Friday, while the LHDN e-appointment session on Monday to Friday is from 8am to 4.40pm and is subject to slots made via link https://ejanjitemu.hasil.gov.my/.

According to the board, CPCA serves as a specialised centre in handling tax matters related to files of foreign taxpayers, non-resident individuals and withholding tax starting Jan 1.

"The placement of the LHDN service counter is part of an initiative to improve service efficiency and facilitate physical access for taxpayers," according to the statement. – Bernama
