Loke offers condolences to family of Jacquita Gomes, wife of MH370 cabin crew


PETALING JAYA: Transport Minister Anthony Loke has extended his deepest condolences to the family of Jacquita Gonzales Gomez who passed away on Monday (April 28).

Jacquita, who was the wife of MH370 in-flight supervisor Patrick Gomez, passed away after losing her battle against breast cancer.

"On behalf of the Transport Ministry, I extend my deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. May her soul rest in peace," he said in a statement on Tuesday (April 29).

Loke described Jacquita, 62, as the courageous and steadfast voice for the families of MH370.

"Her strength, compassion and tireless pursuit of truth in the face of unimaginable loss have touched the hearts of many. Her legacy will remain a beacon of resilience for all who continue to seek closure,” he added.
