Ayer Kuning polls: Wan Norashikin's switch to PAS will strengthen PN, says Idris


BIDOR: Former Perak Wanita Umno chief Datuk Dr Wan Norashikin Wan Noordin’s move to join PAS will strengthen Perikatan Nasional’s election machinery in the Ayer Kuning by-election, says PAS vice-president Datuk Idris Ahmad.

“Her involvement will certainly help our party’s groundwork and voter outreach in Ayer Kuning, especially since she was once a prominent figure at both state and national levels,” he said in a press conference here on Monday (April 21).

Wan Norashikin, who was accompanied by her husband, Tapah PAS secretary Muhammad Noor Farid Zainal, submitted her membership form to party president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang during a Perikatan Nasional campaign event at Kampung Tanjung Keramat on Saturday (April 19) night.
