Pahang PAIP ready for water demand surges during Hari Raya


KUANTAN: Pengurusan Air Pahang Berhad (PAIP) has activated its Preparedness and Standby Operations Plan to ensure consumers have enough water supply during the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

Its chief executive officer Datuk Saiful Zaini Mohd Bokhari said the plan, in effect from Monday (March 31) until April 6, aims to address a projected surge in water demand to 1,600 million litres per day (MLD), up from the current 1,449 MLD.
