Ramadan: Muslims nationwide perform first terawih prayers


KUALA LUMPUR: The exaltation of welcoming Ramadan 1446H begins to be felt as Muslims in Malaysia congregated for spiritual reflection at mosques to perform the first congregational terawih prayer on Saturday (March 1) night before starting their fast the next day.

In SELANGOR, not only the interior of Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque (MSSAAS), which can accommodate up to 24,000 Muslim brethren (Umat), but also the road leading to it was chocked with vehicles.
