Fattah, whose full name is Abdul Fattah Mohd Amin, 35, said things will be different this year, adding he no longer has a wife to wake him for sahur or prepare meals for iftar.
“There are moments when we can’t help but be overwhelmed by emotions.
“But I need to stay strong as what has happened is already destined. As Muslims, we must believe in qada and qadar (fate), including sustenance and death, has already been written. It’s important to reflect and accept it with an open heart.
“My routine will be different, but thank God, I still have my parents, my daughter and siblings.
“They are my pillars of strength and we will observe Ramadan together as a harmonious family,” he said.
Fattah said he remains committed to celebrating and educating his only daughter, four-year-old Nur Fatima Aisya, about the significance of Ramadan.
Fattah and actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin married in 2017. They divorced in October last year.
> Social media influencer Ameera Khan’s action has drawn attention on social media, especially after being linked to popular Indonesian actor Jefri Nichol.
Ameera, whose full name is Nur Ameera Abdul Halim Khan, 25, posted a photo wearing denim jeans featuring the letters “J” and “N” printed on the back.
Many online users believe the initials stand for Jefri’s name, further fuelling speculation about their relationship, Kosmo! reported.
“How romantic; she’s even wearing jeans with her boyfriend’s initials,” commented a social media user.
Jefri also caused a stir when he unveiled a tattoo of the initials “AK” on his ring finger, which many believed was a reference to Ameera, the younger sister of celebrity Neelofa.
