SHAH ALAM: The High Court here freed Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor (pic) of a sedition charge over his remarks about the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah two years ago.
Justice Aslam Zainuddin ordered Muhammad Sanusi to be freed over the prosecution’s request for a discharge not amounting to an acquittal after lawyer Awang Armadajaya Awang Mahmud objected to it.
