Veterinary Services Department launches investigation into alleged animal abuse in Semenyih

KLANG: The Veterinary Services Department (DVS) has received multiple reports of alleged animal abuse at a house in Semenyih.

The reports were lodged by the public against a man over viral videos showing a dog being beaten on the face and its body.

When contacted on Friday (Feb 14), DVS officials acknowledged that the department had received multiple reports over the incident.

“There have been many repeated reports over this case. The Selangor DVS has been instructed to do what is necessary.

“A team to carry out an inspection for investigation has been formed,’’ said the official.
