KUALA LUMPUR: The number of flood evacuees in Sabah continues to rise, while Sarawak has recorded a decline in the number of people seeking shelter at temporary relief centres (PPS) on Sunday (Feb 9) morning.
In Sabah, the state Disaster Management Committee Secretariat said that as of 8 am, the number of evacuees had increased to 989 from 305 families, up from 721 individuals from 212 families on Saturday (Feb 8) night.
