MetMalaysia: Continuous rain at danger levels expected in Sarawak until tomorrow


PETALING JAYA: Continuous heavy downpours at danger levels are expected in some parts of Sarawak until Friday, according to MetMalaysia.

The areas at danger levels are: Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sarikei (Meradong), Sibu (Sibu and Selangau), Mukah, Bintulu (Tatau and Bintulu) and Miri (Subis).

Meanwhile, bad weather conditions with heavy rain are also expected in Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei (Pakam, Sarikei and Julau), Sibu (Kanowit), Kapit (Song and Kapit), Bintulu (Sebauh), and Miri (Beluru, Miri and Marudi).

Heavy rain is also expected in some parts of Sabah, including, Ranau and Kota Belud, Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran and Sandakan) including Kudat.

Other areas in Sabah where a caution alert has been issued for potential continuous rain are: Keningau and Tambunan, Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran, Tawau (Lahad Datu), and Sandakan (Tongod)
