Elderly disabled man killed after ramming car into another vehicle


KAJANG: A disabled 60-year-old man was killed after accidentally ramming his car into another car before hitting a house compound's wall in Sungai Chua here.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Naazron Abdul Yusof said the incident occurred at about 11.30pm on Tuesday (Jan 21).

"We believe the victim, who had an OKU card, had lost control of the vehicle.

"He died at the accident scene," he said in a statement.

The victim was sent to Serdang Hospital for post-mortem, he said.

"We are investigating under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

"We advise road users to drive or ride safely," he said.
