KAJANG: The death of a 19-year-old man, who fell from the 12th floor of a building here, led to the discovery of a pistol and bullets in the victim's vehicle.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Naazron Abdul Yusof said the victim fell to his death from the building at 12.34pm on Tuesday (Jan 21).

"Further checks led police to seize a semi-automatic pistol and bullets in a bag stored in the victim's vehicle.

"We are investigating the matter further," he said in a statement on Wednesday (Jan 22).

The case is classified under Section 8 of the Firearms Act 1971, he said.
